Chelsea grew up with her grandmother (Nanny) Carolyn's authentic southern cookin'. From this, her passion for exploring different cultures and cuisines was born. This passion has taken her around the world, but she has fallen in love with the mountain town of Boone where she has planted her roots. Alongside the daily tasks of operating Howard Station, you can likely find her serving drinks behind the bar and chatting with customers.
Locally born and bred, Cody is excited to return to his home in the mountains. A graduate of Appalachian State University, his love of the local culture and blended background in finance + food service is the foundation of the Howard Station brand. Whether he is behind the bar or in the kitchen, you're sure to get a friendly wave and a great drink recommendation. But he's not all business - his reputation of being 'the friendliest guy around' is shadowed only by his sense of humor.
Running Howard Station's kitchen is Chef Andy, as those who know him affectionately call him. His many years of restaurant experience has led him to Boone, near his hometown of Spruce Pine, NC. He is excited to bring Downtown Boone something it's missing - a unique take on barbecue in an interesting, trendy setting. Whether you join us for brunch, lunch or dinner, don't forget about his deliciously crafted late night menu after dark.
